The European Union (EU) Youth Sounding Board Ghana 2025 is calling for applications! This initiative offers a unique platform for youth leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue, influence impactful policies, and help shape the future of the European Union development cooperation in Ghana.

The European Union Youth Sounding Board (YSB) is a flagship initiative aimed at integrating youth perspectives into the European Union’s external actions and development cooperation. Spearheaded by the European Union Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, the program seeks to create lasting change by ensuring young voices are at the forefront of shaping and implementing the European Union policies.

The YSB Ghana is a dynamic two-year program designed for 20 selected youth leaders (aged 18–30) who will work closely with the European Union Delegation to Ghana and the Netherlands Embassy. Participants will engage in collaborative discussions, offer insights on programming and policy drafting, and advocate for youth-related issues affecting Ghana. This initiative fosters a creative and inclusive space for participants to exchange ideas, influence decision-making, and contribute to impactful international partnerships.

The YSB is a two-year program commencing in March 2025. Members will dedicate approximately 15 days annually to the program, engaging in policy discussions, events, and collaborative sessions.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this prestigious opportunity, applicants must:

Be aged 18–30 at the time of application submission (20 February 2025).
Hold Ghanaian nationality or reside in Ghana.

Be proficient in English (both written and spoken).
Demonstrate a passion for youth empowerment, international development, or policy advocacy.
Be available to dedicate at least 25 days per year to YSB activities over the program’s two-year duration.
