About Emirati Excellence Scholarship
The Prince Naif Program for Postgraduate Scholarships is one of the initiatives undertaken by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences to offer tuition-free scholarships for diploma, master’s, and doctoral levels.
This Emirati Excellence Scholarship can be obtained through competitive selection processes or through nomination by relevant official entities.
The aims of the Emirati Excellence Scholarship is to;
- Create a more competitive academic environment.
- Increase geographic and cultural diversity of students to better reflect and enhance the university’s mission and vision.
- Enhance the university’s connection and service to Arab interior ministries, sectors, and relevant entities in the Arab world.
- Attract academically outstanding students to enable them to become future leaders in the security sectors of their countries.
The Prince Naif University Scholarship (also known as the Prince Naif Program for Postgraduate Scholarships) is tuition-free for all candidates selected to pursue approved programs offered by the institution.

2025 Emirati Excellence Scholarship Requirements
- Meet the admission requirements of the university.
- Have a grade no lower than “Excellent” in the previous academic stage. The university may accept candidates with a “Very Good” grade.
- Obtain a score of 6 on the IELTS test or its equivalent in other standardized tests if the program is offered in English.
- The scholarship candidate must be fully committed to full-time study.
- Students are not allowed to combine the university scholarship with another scholarship from an educational institution in the host country.
- The candidate must meet certain additional criteria that the university may impose during the advanced selection stage among candidates.
- Pass the medical examination.

A fully funded Emirati Excellence Scholarship involves;

2025 Emirati Excellence Scholarship Application Guide
To apply for the Emirati Excellence Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should;
- When you land on the page program’s webpage, click the “Applying at NAUSS” button.
- The admission application should be completed electronically through the Admission and Registration Deanship’s online portal
- Accurate and correct information must be provided by the applicant, and in case of proven otherwise, the university has the right to cancel the admission application without notifying the applicant.
- Selected candidates will be notified and announced.
