The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is delighted to announce the launch of the 2026 ECOWAS Immersion Internship Program.

The ECOWAS Immersion Internship Program 2026 aims to:

ECOWAS Immersion Internship Program 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the ECOWAS Immersion Internship Program 2026, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an ECOWAS Member State.
- Be 32 years of age or younger.
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (BSc, MSc, PhD, or equivalent).
- Be available to participate full-time for the duration of the internship.

Applicants must prepare and submit the following:
A formal application letter addressed to the ECOWAS Commissioner for Human Development and Social Affairs, outlining:
- Motivation for applying.
- Areas of interest.
- Preferred profile and internship location.
- Commitment to abide by program rules.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) in PDF format.
- A valid national identity card or passport (PDF or JPEG).
- Copies of academic certificates (PDF).
Note: Candidates may apply for a maximum of two positions.
