About the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Fellowship

As one of the most notable residency programs in Europe, the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program offers fellowships in:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Submit applications in film, literature, and music (visual arts candidates are accepted by nomination only).

Note: Reapplications are permitted, and submission signifies agreement with the program’s core principles.

How To Apply

The application process includes two essential steps:

  1. Complete the Application Forms: Fill out both the personal data form and the application form online, available during the application period (mid-October to mid-December).

Important Note: All online materials, such as links to portfolios, must remain accessible until August of the following year. Submissions by email are not accepted, so ensure all required documents are submitted through the online portal.
