About the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Fellowship
As one of the most notable residency programs in Europe, the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program offers fellowships in:

This fellowship aims to foster critical and creative dialogue by bringing international artists to Berlin for a period of immersion. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:

- Submit applications in film, literature, and music (visual arts candidates are accepted by nomination only).
Note: Reapplications are permitted, and submission signifies agreement with the program’s core principles.

How To Apply
The application process includes two essential steps:
- Complete the Application Forms: Fill out both the personal data form and the application form online, available during the application period (mid-October to mid-December).
- Submit Work Samples: For guidelines on submitting work samples, refer to the “How Do I Submit My Work Samples?” section on the application portal.
Important Note: All online materials, such as links to portfolios, must remain accessible until August of the following year. Submissions by email are not accepted, so ensure all required documents are submitted through the online portal.
