Interns will work closely with Concordis’ experienced team, contributing to critical tasks such as conflict analysis, monitoring political and security developments, drafting reports, and assisting in funding applications. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and conflict analysis on regions where Concordis operates.
  • Monitor developments in peacebuilding and security sectors using credible sources.
  • Contribute to briefing documents and policy recommendations.
  • Assist in designing and implementing peacebuilding programmes.
  • Draft proposals for new initiatives and explore potential project areas.
  • Support the team in preparing reports and tracking progress.
  • Help assess the impact of existing projects and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Contribute to programme evaluation processes by analyzing collected data.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, training sessions, and dialogue events.
  • Coordinate with project partners and maintain programme documentation.
  • Research funding opportunities and potential grant providers.
  • Assist in drafting funding proposals and concept notes.
  • Attend external seminars, conferences, and meetings on behalf of Concordis.
  • Contribute content for Concordis’ website and social media platforms.
  • Support the security monitoring rota, tracking field staff movements.
  • Be available for occasional weekend shifts as part of security oversight.

Eligibility Criteria

This internship is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • A relevant master’s degree (or current enrollment) in international relations, conflict resolution, development studies, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English and French. Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
  • A strong interest in conflict resolution, international peace processes, and sustainable development.
  • Ability to work at least three days per week with flexible hours. The internship begins in March 2025.
