The Community Engagement Exchange Program 2026 (CEE Program) is part of the U.S. Government’s efforts to strengthen global civil societies. Eligibility Criteria for CEE Program 2026
To qualify for the Community Engagement Exchange Program 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of an eligible country (listed below)
- Reside and work in their home country
- Aged between 21 and 27 years at the time of application
- Minimum two years of professional or volunteer experience
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Available to participate in a three-month U.S. residency
- Committed to returning home to serve their communities for at least two years
- Must not hold U.S. permanent residency or employment at IREX or its affiliates
Applicants who have previously participated in U.S.-funded programs must have fulfilled the required two-year home residency obligation.
