- Be a citizen or have refugee status from an eligible Commonwealth country.
- Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.
- Be available to begin studies in the UK by September 2026.
- Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honours or a lower second-class degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Not have studied or worked in a high-income country for more than one academic year.
- Be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.
- Submit all supporting documentation in the required format by the specified deadlines.
Additional requirements include:

How to Apply for the Kings College Commonwealth Shared Scholarships 2026

- Submit a complete King’s College London online admissions application for one of the approved Master’s programmes by January 12, 2026.
- Eligible applications will be reviewed by King’s College London, which will nominate selected candidates to the CSC by March 10, 2026.
- The CSC will confirm whether candidates meet the eligibility criteria. Decisions are expected by July 2026.
