1. International Students
- Must hold a non-R.O.C. nationality
- Must meet MOE-recognized educational qualifications
2. Overseas Chinese Students (including Hong Kong & Macao)
- Must have lived overseas for at least six consecutive years (eight years for Medicine or Dentistry applicants)
- Can apply via the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students or directly to KMU
3. Mainland Chinese Students
- Must apply via the University Entrance Committee for Mainland Chinese Students
Taiwan Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarships 2026 Educational Qualifications
- Undergraduate Programs – High school diploma or equivalent recognized by the MOE, verified by an R.O.C. representative office
- Post-Baccalaureate Medicine – Bachelor’s degree or higher from an MOE-recognized institution
- Master’s Programs – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recognized by MOE
- Ph.D. Programs – Master’s degree or higher recognized by MOE
