Job Description
The Valaris Engineer Management Development Program is designed to prepare participants, Engineer Trainees, for future management opportunities within the Valaris Operations group.
Our 2.5 year development program is designed to fast-track an immersive experience through hands-on offshore rotational exposure, international assignments, leadership training, and program projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Here’s a list of duties for successful applicants for the Valaris Engineer Management Development Program;
- Completes mandatory training to work offshore
- Completes program requirements including but not limited to:
- Work corresponding with each developmental phase of the program
- Reports, projects and presentations as required by the program
- Company competency program
- Demonstrates effective leadership skills and practices throughout each assignment.
Qualifications Needed for the Valaris Engineer Management Development Program
To get started, kindly go through your documents to be sure you have the following qualifications;
- Engineering degree from an accredited university; principal focus in Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum, Structural or Marine is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited maritime institution
- Ability to work offshore in a global rig environment for extended periods of time
