Eligiblity Criteria
Internships are open to all nationals
Individuals must be at least 20 years old at the time of application
Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, & PhD
Bachelor’s students must be in 3rd or final year of their degrees
Recent graduates of Master’s & PhD, 12 months before the start of the internship
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
Proficiency in any other official working language of UNESCO is an asset
Students must have excellent academic standing
Interest in the United Nations mandate
Ineligibility:
Individuals who are not 20 years old at the time of application
Bachelor’s students are not eligible to apply
Individuals completed a bachelor’s degree but did not enroll in a master’s degree
Individual’s immediate relatives already serving in UNESCO
Competencies
