The Fellowship is open to applicants of any nationality with any academic Background. The James Buchanan Fellowship Program is open to early-career scholars who have recently graduated from their doctoral program.
The Fellowship aims to invite Early Career Researchers with a PhD from any discipline to introduce them to the Austrian, Virginia, and Bloomington schools of Political Economy.
The objective of the Fellowship is to encourage fellows to delve into the political economy theories of Adam Smith and the Austrian, Virginia, and Bloomington schools of thought.
James M. Buchanan Jr. founded the Virginia School of Political Economy which explores the intersection between economics, politics, and law.
Applicants from any discipline can apply for the James Buchanan Fellowship. The Fellowship covers all the expenses including Airfare, Stipend, and Housing.
