Evidence Action leads and manages two programs incubated by Innovations for Poverty Action: Dispensers for Safe Water and the Deworm the World Initiative.
We also run Evidence Action Beta where we are currently testing a number of other rigorously-evaluated interventions for scale-up.

Description of the Finance Intern at Evidence Action Internship
- To support the Finance and Operations department of the National Country Office by assisting with document processing, coordination, and review, ensuring efficient office operations, monitoring financial activities, and contributing to reporting and audit processes.
Duties and responsibilities of the Finance Intern at Evidence Action Internship 2025
- Provide support to the 2024 audit by working with both Operations and finance to ensure the completeness of documents on Box.
- File audit-ready documents as necessary.
- Assisting with all facets of the day-to-day operations and finance of the office.
- Tracing, tracking, and expediting the purchase processes to meet set timelines.
- Handling organizational and clerical support tasks for the finance and operations unit.
- support of program activities.
- Review of support documents to ensure completeness.

Requirements
- Education: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Experience: 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
- Specialized Knowledge: Prior volunteering experience with a donor-funded project is an advantage.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Professional Certification: Not required, but certifications in accounting or finance-related fields are an added advantage.

Description of the People and Culture Intern at Evidence Action Internship
- The Intern, People & Culture, will assist with People and Culture operations for the Nigeria team.
- This internship provides hands-on experience across various HR functions, focusing on completing employee documentation, supporting HR administration, and ensuring compliance with Evidence Action policies and Nigerian labor practices.
- The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional HR service.
Duties and responsibilities of the People and Culture Intern at Evidence Action Internship 2025
- Assist with recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Participate in employee engagement activities, including organizing team-building events and recognition programs.
- Assist in handling employee inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Collaborate with P&C team members to coordinate training programs and initiatives.
- Help track employee training and development activities.
- Support the payment processing for temporary hires and review permanent hire staff timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide general and clerical support to the People and Culture department and other duties as required.
- Facilitate employee statutory registrations, including NHF, Pension, and other mandatory employee benefits.
- Track Paid Time Off (PTO) for temporary hires.
- Update and maintain all department trackers.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- A minimum of HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration or Social Sciences.
- One (1) Year post-NYSC human resources experience.
- A professional human resource certification will be an added advantage.
- A demonstrated ability to process information into action in a timely manner.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use the following Microsoft Productivity tools: PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
