The Shoprite SAICA Trainee Accountant Program is a three-year structured learning and development initiative designed to prepare aspiring Chartered Accountants (CAs) for the SAICA APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) exam. Eligible Fields
Applicants must be studying towards a Chartered Accountancy qualification and enrolled in one of the following:
- BCom Accounting (CA stream)
- BAcc (CA stream)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA)
- Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA)
Eligibility Criteria

- Be 27 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Have a 65%+ aggregate in their studies.
- Be in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th academic year, or enrolled in PGDA/CTA.
