Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
For Europe-Based Candidates:
- Must be enrolled in a European university and eligible for a Pflichtpraktikum (mandatory internship).
For Africa-Based or International Candidates:
- Must be a recent graduate or between academic programs.
- Enrollment in a university is not mandatory, but applicants must be able to work during GMT+1 or GMT+2 time zones.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English
- Experience with data analysis or visualization is an advantage
- Proactive, self-motivated attitude with excellent time management
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills in multicultural settings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed or ongoing graduate studies in relevant fields
- Previous experience in policy, research, or advocacy environments
- Availability to work partially or fully from APRI offices in Berlin or Abuja is a bonus but not required
- Multilingual proficiency is considered an asset
Selection Criteria
Candidates will be evaluated based on:

Shortlisted candidates will go through a three-stage selection process:
- Initial Review – Rolling application assessment
