This year’s MTN Scholarship programme has been scheduled to commence receiving of application this anytime soon.
MTN SCHOLARSHIP AREA OF INTEREST
The MTN scholarship programme encourages individuals and invited students of higher institutions who in are their 300 and level, and studying courses that are related to technology and sciences to apply for the MTN scholarship.
Students of Universities, Polytechnic and College of education are qualified to apply for the MTN scholarship.
The programme is marking the scholarship open to every qualified persons in African who students seeking education financial assistance
The scholarship award is made to the tone of 200,000.00 naira to successful students in the higher institutions. The programme usually select 300 successful applicants every year for the MTN scholarship.
Applicants in this selected categories must be from public institutions; Universities, Polytechnics and College of Education. Successful applicants are paid the scholarship amount and supported till their graduation years
Is Scholarship Available for Students who are blind?
The MTN Scholarship programme, in it’s 10th anniversary launched and targeted blind students who are in their 200 level in any public institution in Nigeria: University, Polytechnics and College of Education.
The award of 200,000.00 naira are made available to successful blind students from 200 level in the higher institutions as mentioned above.
Successful 60 awardees are provided with the above sum throughout their studies or until their graduation.
MTN Scholarship programme for JAMB candidates.
The MTN scholarship programme provide full financial support for best performing JAMB students. This is annually and by automatic. This programme for JAMB candidates started in year 2020. what this means is that, JAMB students who performed excellently in their joint Academic Matriculation Board examination will automatically be awarded the MTN scholarship and all the benefits involved.
You may have to apply if you have scored a very high mark in your JAMB examination and you did not receive any massages of scholarship from MTN or any organization or agency that offers automatic scholarship to best performed students
In the arrangement, top 10 best performers in JAMB examination are automatically recognized and awarded 200,000.00 naira .
Successful awardees are paid the total sum yearly from their 100level in the University of their choice till graduation.
However, a certain grades are required to be qualified for the each years payment of the 200,000.00 naira. Awardees are required to maintain the required grades in their GPA to stay in the Scholarship programme.
In this arrangement unlike the above recognized best performing students are awarded the scholarship sum notwithstanding their University in which they are studying. Private or public institutions in Nigeria.
