Announcing the commencement of 2022 edition of the Foundation Programme for all African entrepreneurs, the management stated thus in their LinkedIn page

“As we wrap up 2021 and set our goals for 2022, what are your plans for your business growth? Get access to $5,000 non-refundable seed funding, business management training, mentorship, and access to new networks and markets on the 2022 TEF Entrepreneurship Programme. Tony Elumelu Foundation has empowered, supported African Entrepreneurs for the past 6years. One of the Foundation recent breakthrough is the successful reuniting one of the African finest Artistes PSquare. The twins had separated many years ago based on some misunderstandings between the two. Many notable Nigerians had tried unsuccessfully to settle the feud between the two bloods.

In the video shared on the page, the super star twins while on stage thanked Tony Elumelu Foundation for the role he played which actually brought them back as Psquare and as apologised for the misunderstanding which resulted to their separation years back.

Tony Elumelu Foundation is founded by Chaiman of Heirs Holding, Mr Tony Elumelu. The foundation has grown to become the biggest Entrepreneurship Programme in Africa for all Africans of any age and any language provided that applicants has viable business Ideal, existing business that is not more than 5 years.

NOTE: the age of business may be reviewed backward or upward depending the Foundation’s decision. Last year, 2021 the age of business was limited to 3years, however, was reviewed upward to 5 years at a certain stage of the programme. The decision to increase the years of business to afford more opportunities to more business and more applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be a citizen of one of the 54 African countries.

Applicants must be from 18 years of age.

Applicants must have a legal name.

Citizens of all African countries are qualified for the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme.

Applicants must apply before the stipulated deadline

Applicants must have Business idea or an existing business.

The business must be registered before fund would given. This means that at the time of your application, your application will be accepted whether your business is registered or no registered provided that your business is fundable. Application can go ahead and apply but if selected for funding must proceed to register his or her business with applicable government agencies, in the case of Nigeria, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
